Tip411

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office utilizes Tip411, a popular crime-fighting tool that has been used successfully to reduce crime in over 1,500 communities across the U.S. We know that people may sometimes be afraid to call us with information, but when using Tip411, the system removes all your identifying information and officers don't receive any identifying information about you - not your name, not your phone number, not your address, nothing. The public is our greatest crime fighting resource, and we hope that residents will use Tip411 to share important information about suspicious activity, drugs, domestic violence, and other crimes to help make a safer place for all who live, work and visit in our community.

Our new Effingham County Sheriff app significantly improves the public's access to the Sheriff's Office by allowing residents to not only submit tips, but access agency alerts, our social media channels, important information, and more to help fight crime from the palm of their hand. Smartphone users can download this free app to submit tips from their iPhone or Android.
