How to Qualify
  • Must meet all qualification requirements, these can be viewed in Qualifications and Disqualifications for Holding State or County Elective Office in Georgia Guide
  • Must file required paperwork with the Elections Superintendent or Local Party Representative during the Qualifying period 
  • Must pay the corresponding Qualifying Fee at the time of Qualifying

Candidate Qualifying for General Primary & General Election

Dates: Monday, March 7th, beginning at 9:00 am and ending on Friday, March 11th at 12:00 pm. 

Where: -Partisan Candidates need to go to their designated local party office to qualify

             -Non Partisan and Independent Candidates will qualify at the Elections Office


Solicitor General $3,093.43
County Commissioners (Districts 2, 3 and 5) $541.48
State Court Judge $3,437.15
Board of Education (Districts 1 & 4) $132.00
